  • Professor Tammaryn Lashley takes up presidential role at British Neuropathological Society

Professor Lashley is Professor of Neuroscience within the Department of Neurodegenerative Disease, UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology. Her research encompasses the pathological characterisation of post-mortem human brains with neurodegenerative diseases supported with biochemical and molecular biological investigations.

The British Neuropathological Society was founded by Godwin Greenfield and colleagues and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2000.

“I am honoured to assume the presidency of the British Neuropathological Society, joining the legacy of distinguished neuropathologists and neuroscientists before me. Having been a member of the society for over twenty years, my goal is to inspire greater engagement within our community, especially among early career researchers who share our dedication with the speciality to advance our comprehension of various diseases.” Professor Tammaryn Lashley
