This UKRI funding is designed to support research that develops innovative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to be applied to health challenges. The Secretary of State for Science and Technology, Michelle Donelan, announced 22 projects that will explore how to develop and use AI in health.
There are three other AI-driven research projects at UCL receiving the award for a total of more than £2.2m for all four. They all aim to find more efficient and effective solutions to current health challenges.
