These awards mean so much to us, as an inclusive curriculum means the content we teach raises students awareness about health inequalities and the nuances of diagnosing and treating different populations. It also means that the way we deliver our content is inclusive and enables each student to feel valued and fully participate. In turn, our health professionals of the future are better equipped to care for diverse and complex patient populations.
