I am pleased to announce the reappointment of Professor Andrew Dick as Director of the Institute of Ophthalmology (IoO). Following consultation with staff, the proposal that Andrew serve a second term has been strongly endorsed by the IoO community and approved by the Provost. I am delighted that Andrew has accepted his re-appointment and will continue to build on IoO’s many successes.

It is an honour to have had conferred a further five years as Director of IoO and to continue to be able to work with the amazing and innovative faculty and students at the institute, wider UCL and our partners at Moorfields Eye Hospital. Building on the collegial and individual successes of the past five years, we will continue to develop our research, education and enterprise programs. Culminating in the move to Oriel, I am confident these will bring us as yet untapped opportunities for all.
