Jonathan Gale Appointed Ear Institute Director

Jonathan takes on the role of permanent Director, having acted as interim Director for the past year and previously as co-Director with Jennifer Linden for two years. 

In addition to his dynamic and tenacious leadership, Jonathan has championed collaboration and partnership working; and his vision for fostering increased multidisciplinarity will strengthen not only the provision of neuroscience and audiological education at UCL, but also continue to develop the Institute as a world leading centre for basic, translational and clinical auditory research. 

Jonathan says:  “Collaboration and sharing are central to the UCL Ear Institute’s success  and I am looking forward to working with all of the Institute’s staff and students to maintain and further develop this ethos”.
