Professor Olga Ciccarelli: "Improving our understanding of MS using imaging"

"I was delighted to have a chance to celebrate the success of my career with everybody who have made it possible. Transnational development of novel magnetic resonance imaging biomarkers and integration between disciplines has been my overarching goal to contribute to the understanding of pathologies like Multiple Sclerosis. So many people have embraced my vision and shaped it with me over the years, including family, friends, colleagues and of course  my fantastic team. I look forward to continuing my "random" journey in this exciting and evolving field of quantitative MRI development and its clinical adoption".  Professor Claudia Wheeler Kingshott
"It was wonderful to celebrate this milestone in my career together with my family, friends, students and colleagues, who have helped and supported me over the last 18 years. It was great to be given the opportunity to overview the contribution of the Queen Square MS Centre team to the field of MS and the discovery of new medications for MS patients. UCL offers an exceptional research, learning and teaching environment and I am very happy to continue to contribute". Professor Olga Ciccarelli
