This year is the 20th anniversary of the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience (ICN) and to celebrate the ICN is holding the 'Mind The Brain' conference on 11 June and the 'Brains and Beyond' interactive exhibition on 14 June.

The 'Mind the Brain' conference on 11 June 2016 will feature short 15-minute talks from 12 different researchers at the forefront of cognitive neuroscience. Topics will range from how we form memories to autism to happiness. To close the day, there will be a panel discussion focusing on how the future of cognitive neuroscience will affect the lives of the public. Find out more and book your place on the 'Mind the Brain' conference website.

The 'Brains and Beyond' free one-day exhibition on 14 June at the ICN will showcase some of the current research being undertaken at the ICN and will include hands-on, accessible and engaging demonstrations of some of the research experiments and tools used. This exciting, interactive exhibition is aimed at children (from year 5 and upwards), teenagers and adults.
