We have an exciting upcoming public engagement opportunity, available to all within the School of Life and Medical Sciences at UCL.
We have established the “Community of Engagers” to enable you to get to know others working in Public Engagement and Patient and Public Involvement across SLMS; and to encourage partnerships and sharing of expertise, ensure wider knowledge and access to support and resources and to further develop and embed PE and PPI best practices across the school.
We would like to invite you to join the Community. Our first meeting was held in October and was a great success. There is a clear appetite across the school to collaborate on engagement and involvement and we’re excited about facilitating this in the future.
The content of our next meeting will be decided by the community and for subsequent meetings, we will continue to ask the Community to guide the content to ensure it meets your needs.
The meetings is scheduled for Tuesday 23rd February from 10am to 12.30pm at Room 675, UCL Institute of Education, 20 Bedford Way, WC1H 0AL.

As part of the meeting we will also be taking a look at our proposed online hub for the Community, where we can share resources and interact between meetings. You can join the hub on UCL's Yammer channel at http://www.yammer.com by signing up with your UCL email address and then apply to join UCL SLMS Community of Engagers. Do take a look at the hub before the meeting to help us decide if this is something we wish to take forward.
