Congratulations to Jemma Davoudian a 2nd year student on the BSc Psychology programme who has been awarded the Bradshaw-Eagle Undergraduate Research Scholarship from the Applied Vision Association.
The award scheme supports undergraduate students who wish to carry
out supervised summer research projects and allows students to experience a real research environment
and to be trained to carry out a piece of scientific research, with
the aim of encouraging them to consider an academic research career.
The scholarship provides a
stipend of £1600 to support Jemma carrying out a self-contained
vision-related research project. In her project, Jemma aims to
investigate whether position coding for faces is a distinct process to
that of objects, supervised by Prof. John Greenwood.
