UCL Institute of Ophthalmology has a range of highly active research collaborations with industrial partners. These include large pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies and start-ups.
Research & development (R&D) partnerships are one of the ways to access the knowledge and expertise of the Institute of Ophthalmology. The partnerships benefit the industrial partner through providing access to the outcomes of our state of the art ophthalmology research and the wealth of innovation and intellectual property available at the Institute of Ophthalmology. Collaboration with an industrial partner accelerates the development process bringing the best science and technology to the market and the patients.
