Medical Illustration provides an end-to-end professional video service for Queen Square staff.

We provide Queen Square staff the highest quality and an end-to-end video production service producing media for a range of different requests such as medical records, teaching, publication, patient information and PR. Our staff are highly qualified and experienced in the application of videography to medicine and have full registered status with the National Register of Medical Illustration Practitioners through CAMIP and are members of the Institute of Medical Illustrators, the national body which exists to uphold technical and ethical standards within Medical Illustration.

Video services we provide:

Clinical patient video requests can be carried out in our studio, NHNN department/ward/operating theatres, and other locations around Queen Square. Clinical patient video requests should be emailed to ion.medicalillustration@ucl.ac.uk and include the following: full patient details, diagnosis, hospital/MRN number, consultant name, location of shoot, prefered date and time and your contact details. Service requests are carried out Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Our studio provides all the necessary requirements to produce what you require, whether a patient training video or an interview for a department project. Service requests are carried out Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Please email ion.medicalillustration@ucl.ac.uk to book your request or for further information.

Whether you require a video produced for staff training, patient information, medical teaching, we work with you to get your message over with clarity and accuracy. PR filming requests can be carried out either on location around Queen Square or in our studio. The UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology YouTube channel is managed by Medical Illustration and can be used to upload content that has been produced for teaching, staff training, patient information, PR or an event/meeting that has been recorded in either 33 QS basement lecture theatre or Gilliatt lecture theatre. Once media has been uploaded you can embed the player on to a web page or the link can be disseminated for attendees to watch post event.
