Laptop and Projector Loans

The laptop and projector loan service provided by Medical Illustration provides Queen Square staff with essential equipment for your meeting. Service users borrow a UCL imaged laptop that provides access to essential sotware such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Teams, and the ablity to connect to Wi-Fi such as UCL Eduroam if an internet connection is required. Additionally, we can provide a portable data projector that can be connected to our laptop or your own via a VGA connection.

The use of a loan laptop and data projector is for use only in Queen Square and cannot be taken offisite/away from Queen Square. Equipment is returned the next working day and should be locked away securely over night. Once a booking has been confirmed via email, collection and return of equipment will be handed over to you when we meet you; 3rd floor 33 Queen Square. Service requests and collection and return of equipment are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

To request a laptop and/or data projector, please email ion.medicalillustration@ucl.ac.uk providing the following information that is required for a booking:

  • Full name
  • Contact information - mobile and/or ext number
  • Department
  • Location of where the equipment will be used
  • Date and time of collection and return
