We focus on neurodegeneration, peripheral nerve disease, ataxias, and movement disorders, using a combination of genetic, functional cell biology, and neuropathological methods. As genetic technology rapidly advances, our research emphasizes analyzing RNA, protein expression, and interactions in human tissues, which is crucial for developing future treatments. Our goal is to translate these findings into improved patient outcomes and disease-modifying treatments.
