Brain Buddy UK: Talks and Events
Brain Buddy UK is a patient self-help group established in 2017 by two patients who had epilepsy surgery at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery.
Brain Buddy UK was established to connect people with a lived experience of epilepsy surgery, and the aftermath, and those who are contemplating having surgery, either in the future, or who may already be undergoing investigations to help decide whether this is the right course to take.
Brain Buddy connects people through their online and in-person events at Queen Square during which patients and their families are able to meet others who share similar experiences.
Members of the epilepsy team are present at the meetings, to help guide and answer any questions that may arise.
