We undertake major programmes of externally funded basic science and translational research to find therapies and improve the lives of patients
We prioritise national and international partnership’ working with NHS and academic colleagues, industry, patient organisations and patients
On 12th July 2026, Professor Mike Hanna will lead the CNMD’s team of over 30 colleagues in running The Saucony London British 10k run, to raise funds for the Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases.
First PhDs awarded to ICGNMD International Clinical Fellows
From 2019 to 2024, the ICGNMD’s first MRC-funded award supported early career clinical fellows around the world to develop clinical academic research expertise in neuromuscular diseases.
