Getting Started
- Visit Infinity website
- Click on SSO icon to log on using your UCL ID
- Complete registration wizard, including your lab and the facilities that you want to access.
- Your application will now be sent to the facility manager to be approved. This can take up to 3 days.
- Once your registration has been approved, you will be assigned a funding code by your departmental administrator. This will appear in the system.
- Equipment and services are now bookable in the system.
Troubleshooting
I have an authorisation error when logging in to Infinity
- Make sure that you are using the SSO button to log in. Do not enter your email and password in the boxes provided
Make sure you have selected a Lab and Facility in My Profile. Click on your initials in the blue circle to access
I can’t find my cost code in the Account Code drop-down list when I come to make a booking
This could be because your grant hasn’t yet been added or has expired. Contact your departmental administrator.
I can only see one facility.
To access different facilities, click on My Profile > My Facilities
Equipment
There is a problem with the equipment, what should I do?
You can report an issue with a piece of equipment, by clicking on Report Issue button on Instrument tab and can also report issues easily in the mobile app
Where can I find help for my specific piece of equipment?
You can find help with a piece of equipment, by clicking on More and Help Files
Cancellations
Each facility has a different cancellation policy and guidelines., which are available to view when you make a reservation
