PITVIS

The Pituitary Vision Challenge (PitVis), was a challenge run by TeQ, where participants across the globe competed on creating the best artificial intelligence (AI) models to aid surgeons during endoscopic pituitary surgery based on video data.

AID PITSURG

Using the latest artificial intelligence (AI) models to aid surgeons during endoscopic pituitary surgery based on video data, including: automatically determining the surgical step the surgeon is currently performing, automatically detecting the surgical instrument the surgeon is using, and identifying critical parts of the anatomy.

CARES

Context Aware Augmented Reality Endoscopic Surgery (CARES) is a collaboration between neurosurgeons; machine learning scientists; and human factor researchers, working together to create the best solutions on how to aid surgeons with augmented reality assistance in endoscopic pituitary surgery.

EMBRI

EMBRI is an IDEAL Stage 1 Feasibility study using ECoG arrays to capture brain recordings. The aim of the study is to identify markers of brain ischaemia secondary to supratentorial or infratentorial fixed brain retraction.

SUNAN

SUNAN is a basic science study involving a procedure using novel Neuropixel probes to record single-unit neurophysiological activity with human participants who are already undergoing a transcranial neurosurgical procedure on the brain.

PITCOP 

PITCOP is the first-ever international consensus study focusing on establishing the top research priorities for pituitary surgery (PSP) and developing a standardised research dataset (COS) to improve pituitary surgery research. it involves all major international pituitary units.

      PROMESS

      Patient Reported Outcomes in Endoscopic Skull base Surgery (PROMESS) is a UK-multicenter prospective observational study which aims to validate a patient-centred outcome score for anterior skullbase surgery (Pituitary Outcome Score).
