Research
The Unit’s research strategy is focussed on improving our understanding of brain tumours with the eventual goal of curing these devastating diseases. We have a full programme of fundamental discover science, clinical and patient-centred research, and technological developments. We are focussed on improving outcomes and the quality of life of patients, and to advance therapies for patients with brain tumours. The approach is multidisciplinary, multicentre, multinational. We collaborate closely with neuroscientists and patients to develop new therapies and apply these clinically. Bringing innovations into the operating room.
We have close links to basic science research groups and industry partners - working together to cure brain tumours.
