CNR Networking events
Networking events are a chance to share experiences and ideas in a friendly environment
- We run 3-4 evening networking events each year followed by a chance to catch up and network with friends and colleagues over refreshments.
- Anyone can attend or present.
- For each event we will pick an interesting mix of very short presentations based on brief abstracts that we invite you to send us. These can be studies, case presentations or simply new ideas that you want to get feedback on.
- If there is a particular topic you would like to see or even run, let us know at cnr@ucl.ac.uk and we can help you!
Upcoming networking events
- We are currently looking for expressions of interest in presenting at the next CNR Clinical Networking event on Wednesday 1st April 2026 (18:00-19:30): ‘How do we support people with neuro-disability to engage in physical activity and exercise?’
- The World Health Organisation defines physical activity as “any bodily movement produced by skeletal muscles that requires energy expenditure”. This can range from structured exercise programs to behaviour change initiatives to support people to be more active. We would welcome individual or team presentations on initiatives and innovative approaches that colleagues in neuro-rehabilitation have implemented. We are particularly keen to understand the impact of the initiatives and share learning on the process. Presentations will be 10 minutes long, with 5 minutes for questions and discussion.
- To submit an expression of interest, please write a brief abstract (up to 200 words) and send this to cnr@ucl.ac.uk by Monday 16th March 2026.
- If you need any further information, please contact: cnr@ucl.ac.uk.
