Why did you choose to study your programme and what made you choose UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience?

UCL’s Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience's cutting edge research fascinated me. I knew that an institution of such reputation would both align with my own interests whilst providing me with the tools necessary to succeed.

What do you enjoy most about your programme?

The opportunity to study fascinating modules taught by such experienced and prominent lecturers had to be the most exciting aspect of this programme.

What advice would give prospective students thinking of studying at UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience?

Always be open to new opportunities. UCL’s Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience is excellent for beginning a career in this field. Also, London is right on your doorstop, with all its history and culture for you to soak up.

What are your plans for the future once you have completed your degree?

I work at the Royal College of Psychiatry looking at dementia care in the UK, however I am considering one day to pursue a PhD in this field.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your time at UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience?

There was so much support provided for me as part of the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and UCL more generally. This support went beyond the duration of the course, as I even volunteered at the Developmental Change and Plasticity Lab afterwards to gain some much-needed experience. There are so many opportunities available at the UCL, don’t be afraid to look for them.
