IoO Annual Lecture & Awards 2026

The UCL Institute of Ophthalmology Annual Award Lecture was established in 2018 to honour scientists who have made outstanding contributions to the field of ophthalmology and visual science.

The lecture is part of the IoO Week. After the lecture, the IoO award winners will be announced. These awards are to celebrate IoO staff as well as Moorfields/IoO-associated staff to recognise academic, teaching, EDI, collegiality and public-patient involvement and engagement (PPIE) activities from staff and students who have made significant contributions to life at our institute this year.
