We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming in-person BSc/MSci Psychology and Language Sciences Taster Lecture here on our Bloomsbury campus in London. Now that applications for September 2026 are open, we wanted to give you the chance to come onto campus to get a real sense of what life is like studying BSc/MSci Psychology and Language Sciences here at UCL.
During the session you’ll hear from our Admissions Tutor, Dr Vitor Zimmerer who will give you a brief overview of the programme before diving into the taster lecture. During the lecture, you’ll get to explore the amazing world of psychology and language sciences and find out how our understanding of how the brain supports language has changed over two centuries, and what is on the horizon for the neuroscience of language.

You’ll also have the chance to meet our current Psychology and Language Science undergraduates and join a Q&A with them and our staff—perfect for asking questions about the course and student life.
