Orthoptics MSc (pre-registration) virtual open day and taster lecture

The UCL Orthoptics MSc (pre-registration) is the UK's first dedicated accredited graduate entry programme that provides an accelerated route to becoming an accredited orthoptist in the UK. It provides you with the theoretical knowledge and clinical training that underpins professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Successful completion of this programme will allow you to qualify and practice as an accredited orthoptist. You will be able to work both in private and public healthcare settings (such as in the NHS).

During the session you'll get to hear from the programme Directorship about the course structure, modules, career outcomes and life as a student in the department, UCL and London more widely.

The Orthoptics team will also be running a taster lecture in the second half of the session giving you an insight into the content you'll get to engage with on a daily basis once on the programme.

We'll also have student ambassadors who are current students on the course in the session so you'll be able to pitch your questions to them and gain their valuable insights into why this is the course for you too.
