Experience the power of music and art by joining us at St George the Martyr Church for a groundbreaking live performance, where individuals living with young-onset Parkinson’s bring their experiences to life through an exciting musical interpretation of a graphic score they’ve created. This unique collaboration with researchers at University College London explores the remarkable mental health benefits of art and music. Through a series of workshops, participants have worked together to transform their personal stories into sound and visual imagery. Now, with the support of professional musicians, this journey culminates in a powerful live performance that gives voice to the experiences of the community. Adding to the magic, the event will also feature two specially arranged compositions by Simon Lesley, delivering an unforgettable musical experience.
Entry is free, and refreshments will be provided. Don’t miss this inspiring event!
