The Centre for Equality Research in Brain Sciences “Inclusive Research Sampling” Research Interest Group invites you to attend a day-long hybrid event about conducting inclusive research and participant recruitment.
This event will showcase how researchers can work with different communities to recruit and retain participants from historically underrepresented groups to ensure our research includes the diverse populations it seeks to serve.
What to Expect:
- UCL Ethics representatives will speak about inclusive research from an ethical perspective and offer guidance during networking sessions
- Researchers from the Faculty of Brain Sciences and beyond will share insights about their approaches to recruiting and working with historically underrepresented groups
- Community perspectives will be shared about experiences of supporting and participating in research.
- Q&A panels will provide you a chance to ask questions about approaches and embedding inclusive research practices.
- Networking opportunities to connect with fellow researchers and speakers.

Venue: Leolin Price Lecture Theatre, Institute of Child Health, UCL
