The Rare Disease Day 2020 event at Moorfields is aimed both at researchers and the public. For researchers, it's an opportunity to showcase their work. For the public and staff, it offers a chance to learn more about the research currently being conducted at Moorfields BRC and the UCL Institute of Opthamology.
The day will involve researchers speaking with passing patients and staff. Researchers are encouraged to bring resources and interactive items to maximise interest and engagement. Researchers have been given two-hour slots, either on their own or in pairs.
