Workshop on Mechanisms of Cognitive Training and Transfer

This one-and-a-half day workshop brings together researchers with expertise in several domains of cognitive training (executive functions, music, motor skills, socio-emotional skills), spanning different age groups (children, adolescents, adults, elderly) and species (humans and rodents) to discuss theoretical and methodological issues related to training cognitive functions. Through a series of talks and discussion rounds we aim to synthesise multiple approaches to address pressing questions in the area of cognitive training: What is the impact of training at different developmental stages? What is the role of individual differences in training and transfer effects? How does motivation impact training? Where is the field headed?
