UCL Ear Institute MSc Excellence Scholarships

This scholarship aims to support outstanding home candidates for the MSc Advanced Audiology program who demonstrate:

• Academic excellence
• Professional commitment
• A clear vision for advancing audiology practice globally

1. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

• Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for MSc Advanced Audiology (entry September 2026)
• Be eligible for UK fees
• Hold a first-class or upper second-class (2:1) undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Audiology or a closely related discipline (e.g., Speech and Hearing Sciences)

Application documents:

2. Personal Statement covering:
   • Motivation for pursuing MSc Advanced Audiology
   • Career aspirations and how the MSc and scholarship will help achieve them
   • Commitment to applying knowledge for patient care and innovation
   • Evidence of advancing audiological practice (prior roles, placements, voluntary work)
   • Research interests aligned with advanced or specialist audiology topics (e.g., paediatric audiology, vestibular science, cochlear implants, hearing technology)
   • Vision for how the MSc will enhance your contribution to the audiology profession locally, nationally, or globally

2. Complete the online scholarship application form, including uploading your CV

3. Submit all documents by the published deadline

4. Selection Process

• Applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee
• Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview to assess communication skills, professional goals, and alignment with course objectives
• Final decisions will be communicated via email

• One full fee waiver for the MSc Advanced Audiology course (UK fees only)
• Non-transferable and valid only for the academic year awarded
