Conference Attendance & Funding

DCAL staff and students are encouraged to attend (and present at) conferences. There is no hard and fast rule about how many conferences each staff member/student can/should attend - this will vary depending on the situation (e.g. number of projects you are involved in and at what stage). However, it is important to acknowledge that more is not necessarily better. It takes time to prepare for and attend conferences, and we all need to be wary of this. Talk to your line manager for advice about your specific situation and about funding possibilities.

All conference presentations should be recorded in ResearchFish.
