1. What motivated you to attend the ophthalmology summer school?

I wanted to get more research experience in the field of visual neuroscience as in the future I would like to pursue a PhD.

2. What was the best thing about being at UCL this summer?

The best thing about being at UCL was the opportunity to work with passionate and dedicated scientists. It was an amazing opportunity to learn more about the field of ophthalmology and how the fundamental science correlates with the clinical part in order to achieve revolutionary treatments for patients.

3. What is your top takeaway from the summer school this year?

My top takeaway would be the networking opportunity the summer school offered me because I met a lot of inspiring people.

4. Would you recommend the ophthalmology summer school to other students just like you?

I strongly recommend the summer school at the Institute of Ophthalmology to all the students who wish to get a glimpse into the life of a researcher.
