2025 Conference Practical Information for Attendees

Information about the venue and registration, useful phone numbers, recommendations for restaurants and suggestions for accommodation.

Venue and registration

The address is: NOVA National School of Public Health, Lisbon, Av. Padre Cruz, 1600-407 Lisboa, Portugal.

A tent will be set up outside the building, serving as a central hub for attendees. This tent will be the designated area for registration, coffee breaks, lunch and the networking events.

When you arrive please report to the registration desk inside the large tent outside NSPH. To save time, you can register during the pre-conference day on 1 April from 09:00-17:00. On 1 April, registration will open at 08:00.

Please allow extra time for check-in. The conference starts at 09:00 on the 2nd of April, we advise you to come early for registration so that you don’t miss the opening ceremony and first keynote.

Directions from the airport

From Lisbon Airport there are three main ways to reach the venue:

Taxi
Estimated cost: €10 to €15
Duration: approximately 10 minutes (depending on traffic conditions)

UBER/ BOLT
Estimated cost: €5 to €8 (depending on time of day and/or demand)
Duration: approximately 10 minutes (depending on traffic conditions)

Public transportation (Metro)
Cost: €1.65 for Metro + €0.50 for rechargeable card (€2.15 overall)
Duration: approximately 48 minutes for metro

Payment methods: you can use your bank card at the entrance and exit doors (remember to use the same card to avoid double payment) or purchase tickets in person at the machines or ticket office.

Route: Metro: From Lisbon Airport, take the metro towards ‘São Sebastião’. At ‘Alameda’ Station, switch to the green line towards ‘Telheiras Station’.

•   Walk to Picoas station (Yellow Line – Linha Amarela).
•   Take the metro toward Odivelas and get off at Campo Grande (3 stops).

Hotel Principe Lisboa - metro (approx. 15 minutes):

Walk to São Sebastião station (Blue & Red Lines).
Take the Blue Line toward Reboleira and transfer at Marquês de Pombal to the Yellow Line (Linha Amarela) toward Odivelas.
Get off at Campo Grande (4 stops).
ENSP Nova is a 3-minute walk from the station.

Please note that there is a city accommodation tax which is not included in the room rates and is payable by guests directly at the hotel’s reception. This tax is 2 euros per person per night for up to seven nights.
