Governance and Engagement

The ERB Centre brings together a diverse group of stakeholders who share a common goal of contributing to and operating in the field of EDI research.

The ERB Centre is led by an appointed Director, and supported by a board of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) experts, including academics and partners with lived and/or living experience. Members of the advisory board represent research areas across all divisions and institutes in the faculty. Together they ensure that the institute fosters and supports an impactful network of FBS researchers, by working to promote understanding and interdisciplinary solutions to EDI challenges in science, academia, the health and technology sectors and beyond.

To realise this vision, the Director of the ERB Centre works closely with the faculty Vice-Dean (EDI) and Vice-Dean (Research) to lead the organisation, expansion and running of the Centre, with the support of the faculty EDI team. The Centre will also work with faculty research coordinators and the communications team to ensure alignment with UCL’s principles.
