PhD Students - Critical Deadlines

The Division of Biosciences operates the main induction session for PhD students in the last week of September, although for self funded students it is possible to commence study at other times of the year. Any student missing the September induction will participate in the induction session following their commencement of study.

4 year PhD in Neuroscience
Closing Date for Applications: 7th January 2012.

4 year Wellcome Trust PhD in Developmental and Stem Cell Biology
Closing Date for Applications: Tuesday 3rd January 2012.

4 year Wellcome Trust Interdisciplinary PhD in Structural, Computational and Chemical Biology

Closing Date for Applications: 5pm Tuesday 10th January 2012.

Research Council Funded positions where available (only open for UK and EU citizens who have been "normally resident" in the UK for the three years immediately prior to commencement of study)

Students enrolling for a PhD will be expected to submit their dissertation for examination within 4 years of commencement of study. There are milestones along the way that are monitored through the Graduate Log and by a Graduate Committee
