Research summary

I am interested in understanding how selection produces variation in form, behaviour and reproductive patterns. Using a variety of animals, my group takes advantage of natural variation, convergent evolution, artificial selection and sexual selection. By integrating data from genomes and transcriptomes with natural history, we study the ways that selection navigates genetic constraints and conflicts to create phenotypic diversity.

I have moved to the University of British Columbia and am no longer taking students at UCL.
