Research summary
As a postdoc in the Shou lab, I study how metabolic excretions facilitate cell-cell interactions in populations or synthetic communities of budding yeast. More broadly, my interest lies in using quantitative tools to decipher the logic behind cellular pathways.
Teaching summary
I currently co-supervise an MSci student's final project with Prof. Wenying Shou.
Biography
I joined the Shou lab as a postdoc while the lab was located at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Centre in Seattle, USA. I won a Marie Słodowska-Curie Fellowship to continue my work at UCL. I earned my PhD at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Munich (Germany), studying self-organizing protein networks under the guidance of Prof. Petra Schwille. Prior to that, I did a researched-based Masters' at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai (India), studying skin development in zebrafish.
