Obituary: Dr Pauline Meadow, 1930 - 2021

The Division is sad to announce the death of Dr Pauline Meadow, former lecturer of Biochemistry in the Division of Biosciences. Pauline died peacefully on September 8th in the care home she had been living in for her last few months. She was 91.

Pauline worked at UCL from 1955 to 1988 in the Biochemistry Department. She also served as Special Trustee to the hospitals that eventually made up the UCLH trust group from 1978 to 2008. It was also at UCL that she met her husband, John Enticknap.

In addition to this, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal of the Microbiology Society, which she was a member of for many years.
