Nature Metabolism paper from NPP- Prof Stefan Trapp's lab

With fellow authors from Universities in Florida, Zurich and Cambridge,  Prof Stefan Trapp's lab announce their paper in Nature Metabolism: https://www.nature.com/articles/s42255-021-00344-4. They conclude that central and peripheral GLP-1 systems suppress eating via independent gut–brain circuits, providing a rationalle for pharmacological activation of PPG^NTS neurons in combination with GLP-1 receptor agonists as an obesity treatment strategy.
