Dr Karoline Kuchenbaecker receives ERC Grant

Depression affects 300 million people and represents one of the biggest challenges to human health to date. The DIVERGE study will build an immense international bioresource for depression. It will combine psychiatric epidemiology, genetics, and evolutionary biology in order to unravel the complex interplay between genetic and environmental factors that cause depression.
