UCL Division of Biosciences

There are opportunities to study within the centre at undergraduate, Masters, and PhD levels.
  • PhD: CBER’s academic staff supervise doctoral students funded through several different avenues, notably the NERC London Doctoral Training Partnership. Further details about opportunities to study for a PhD with us can be found on the departmental website.
  • MRes: Masters level training is offered through our MRes in Biodiversity, Evolution and Conservation.
  • Undergraduate: CBER staff teach on several undergraduate programs, including the Biodiversity and Conservation pathway that is available for BSc and MSci degrees in Biological Sciences. For example, CBER staff teach undergraduate modules on Fundamentals of Ecology, Animal Biodiversity, and Species Conservation and Biodiversity, and run undergraduate field courses in Scotland and at Blakeney Point, Norfolk. CBER also hosts undergraduate research projects undertaken by UCL students.
