Ingrid Lekk
I am a Wellcome Trust PhD student working jointly in the labs of Steve Wilson and Claudio Stern. I am interested in how left-right brain asymmetries are established during embryonic development and to what extent these asymmetries are conserved within different species.

Profile

2013 - present UCL Wellcome Trust PhD programme in Stem
Cell and Developmental Biology, labs of Steve Wilson and Claudio Stern.

2012 - 2013 UCL Wellcome Trust PhD programme in Stem
Cell and Developmental Biology, rotations in the labs of Antonella Riccio,
Steve Wilson and Claudio Stern.

2007 - 2012 BSc and MSc in Molecular Biology, Tallinn
University of Technology, Estonia. Research on regulation of BDNF translation
in rat hippocampal neurons, lab of Professor Tõnis Timmusk.
