Irene De Almeida is a long-standing
member of the lab. After doing the work for her PhD in neural induction under
Claudio's supervision, Irene took a four year career break to have a family and
pursue other interests. She returned to the Lab in 2011 and, as a research
associate, has been working in various projects, ranging from calcium signaling
and extracellular matrix proteins in neural induction to somitogenesis. Currently
Irene is working towards understanding embryonic regulation and the
establishment of polarity in the early chick embryo. Telephone (Office): 020 3108 4045 Email: i.almeida@ucl.ac.uk |
