Cell and Developmental Biology

The Research Department of Cell and Developmental Biology is part of the Division of Biosciences in the Faculty of Life Sciences and brings together excellent, internationally competitive cell, developmental and evolutionary biologists to provide coherence of research strategy to investigate cell, tissue and organism function. Our excellence in Neuroscience was recognised by the award of the 2014 Nobel Prize for Medicine or Physiology to CDB Professor John O’Keefe.
