IBSc Physiology and Pharmacology (UCL Medical Students Only)

Introduction

Physiology and Pharmacology study how living organisms work, and how chemical compounds, endogenous or exogenous, interact with them to affect their function. They are the basic sciences underlying modern medicine and research aimed at understanding human health and disease. The joint honours programme fosters the study of two tightly related and complementary disciplines, for which understanding of one is required for, and enhances, understanding of the other.
