Talk title: "Zooming in on the genetic history of Latin America"
Venue: Gavin de Beer LT, Anatomy Building (map)
Abstract: Latin Americans are the product of an extensive genetic admixture of different continental populations. Using dense genetic data and novel statistical approaches I trace the specific origins of the ancestors of thousands of Latin Americans, revealing hidden histories and the impact of this subtle genetic contributions on their physical appearance.
