Two Lecturer/Associate Professor positions available in Theoretical and Computational Biophysics

21 November 2022

University College London is recruiting two Lecturers (UK equivalent to Assistant Professors) to develop and lead an independent research programme of international quality in theoretical or computational physics applied to biology. The Lecturers will be academic members of the UCL Department of Physics and Astronomy and are expected to develop strong links with the Faculty of Life Sciences. The Lecturers will also be members of the cross-faculty UCL Institute for the Physics of Living Systems (IPLS) and more generally – at UCL and in London as a whole – will have direct access to one of the largest and most vibrant biomedical research communities in Europe. Our aim is to recruit, and support the professional development of, two outstanding early-career researchers working on theoretical or computational research to address scientific problems at the interface between physics and biology at the molecular, cellular or tissue scales.

Application deadline: 9 January 2023.
