We are recruiting for a Lecturer (UK eq. Assistant-Professor) to develop and lead an independent research programme of international quality in theoretical and/or computational physics applied to biology.

The Lecturer will be located in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, with strong links to the Faculty of Life Sciences. The Lecturer will also be a member of the cross-faculty UCL Institute for the Physics of Living Systems (IPLS) and more generally – at UCL and in London as a whole – have direct access to one of the largest and most vibrant biomedical research communities in Europe. Our overall goal is to recruit and develop exceptional early career researchers working at the interface of physics and biology, and to support them in an environment that fosters academic excellence, creativity and innovation to become leaders of the future.
