In this course we'll explore the fundamentals of building with biology: using case studies of how Biochemical Engineers are helping to develop sustainable solutions to real-world problems using synthetic biology.We will introduce the UCL Pilot Plant: how process engineering and R&D in this area can impact how pharmaceuticals will be made in future.

This session will be presented by Dr Rana Khalife

This course is particularly suitable for students who would like a course where they can combine maths with sciences, or who are interested in a career in the growing sector of biotechnology.
