Professor John Ward is the programme director for the Synthetic Biology MRes and Dr Brenda Parker is the admissions tutor for degree programmes at UCL Biochemical Engineering. They will be presenting the last of six taster lectures at UCL Biochemical Engineering, the UK's only university to have a department dedicated to this exciting and world-changing subject. They will give a half hour presentation on how you can design biology to create a circular economy, reusing resources such as plastics and generating materials from algae, with a question and answer session to follow. These taster lectures will give you a chance to find out about the subjects we teach and research, you'll be able to meet our lecturers and researchers and you can put your questions to the team. We look forward to welcoming you.
