In this interactive session, attendees will hear from Vax-Hub researchers on some of the manufacturing challenges for the current vaccine platforms being explored for COVID-19, as well as how Vax-Hub works through partnerships with LMIC manufacturers to co-design vaccine manufacturing technologies suited to local needs.
There will also be an opportunity to hear from Vax-Hub partner, Hilleman Laboratories (an equal joint-venture partnership formed between Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp. (MSD) and the Wellcome Trust) on the role of collaboration and the value of exchanging of ideas and creating meaningful dialogues to strengthen public health systems and immunization programs in developing countries over the long-term.
