About the Speaker
Dhamayanthy Parameswaran
Upstream Bioprocess Engineer at Eli Lilly
I’m currently working as an Upstream Bioprocess engineer for Eli Lilly in Kinsale (Ireland). I’m currently the system owner for all Upstream, Media and Primary recovery unit operations and my objective is ensuring batch delivery whilst following our mantra - Safety First, Quality Always. I’ve been with Eli Lilly for 4 years and absolutely loving it! I completed the Biochemical Engineering MEng with Bioprocess Management at UCL. I also completed a year in Industry with Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies (Billingham, UK) as a Process Development scientist in R&D and a summer internship with MedImmune (Cambridge, UK). All the skills I’ve learnt from my placements and the degree at UCL have really helped me with my role today at Eli Lilly.
